Clamshell Melts & New Scents

The cottage is featuring new clamshell Melts, along with our popular yummy tarts & muffins.
 Pearberry Melts
 Sweet Mulberry Melts
 Georgia Peach Melts
                                                                     Lemon Zest Melts
Pineapple Melts

This is just a sample of what I have to offer, only $3.75 each.

My candles, tarts, muffins, and Melts are not only beautiful and realistic, they are highly scented, made in small batches to assure great quality.  I pay attention to details that larger candle companies can't afford to do.  I'm thankful to be able to create....

One question, where is the smell button on these computers? ha ha

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I hope in the future I might spark your interest with my pictures, thoughts and ramblings, until we meet again, have a blessed day!

Great reading for today, the first day of Lent ~ Psalms 27

Happy 2011 to All My Friends

Well, another year is upon us, with plenty of plans to start the New Year.  My goal is to do less of a lot of things, and do quality of those things I'm committed to.  Although I was sick all Christmas break, I did enjoy my family so much.  Isn't that what it's all about?  My Christmas shopping was never finished, cards are still in a pile.  Some gifts are still not wrapped, and the few decorations I managed to get up are almost all packed away.  My visions of lots of decorating, cupboards filled with homemade goodies, and packages all wrapped up in beautiful bows quickly came to a hault at the Doctors office, but thankfully, I'm on the mend to good heath again.

As I laid in the recliner on Christmas Eve and watched out the window as the Christmas snow softly fell to the ground, I was thankful to be in a warm safe home, with my family healthy and know that I would see my precious grandchildren for the Christmas Holiday.  When my one sweet grandbaby held my face tenderly and said, "Gamma, I just love you so much", who could have a better blessing?  My other 18 month old grandbaby reached for me to hold her, and laid her head tenderly on my shoulder, who could have a better present?  I thank God for the blessings He's given me.  His love, His mercy, and His hope.......May you all have a wonderful New Year in 2011.

Hello Friends--Where have I been?

Well to tell you the truth, it's been a very busy spring/beginning summer. I don't spend a lot of time for fun on the computer---I'm just too busy. I've opened my Candle Cottage, spending time pulling weeds, planting flowers, making candles and tarts, and then doing my public job on top of being a wife, mom, maid, Sunday School teacher, and resting when I sit down. I love life for sure, and miss blogging, but I've also notice many great bloggers are more winter time bloggers as well. Here's a few pictures of my cottage, creations etc. Hope to become more faithful in the future.

Some new scents for tarts are a new creation.....Blackberry Cobbler, plump little blackberries on a square of cobbler, oozing with scent and juice on top...........Pumpkin mulled cider..omgosh!!!This wonderful tart I believe is my favorite....it has raisins and chopped nuts on top, and a scent that will be a very favorite to many, it's mine for sure!

Shamrocks---Do you feel lucky?

Good Morning Friends--another snowy day. I'm getting ready to start on some shamrock air fresheners. My question is ....should I leave blank with just two tones of green and a little bling, or add sentiments on them such as "Kiss Me I'm Irish", Lucky Me, etc? I would really appreciate any suggestions and comments.

Also, please leave comments for favorite spring time scents. I am getting ready for several fundraisers this spring, and want to offer the most popular scents to these awesome sponsors. I will post the names of fundraiser events as soon as they are finalized.

Thanks to all that take a look at my goods. Check out my photo albums of new pictures of goods on my facebook fan page....link on button on right side .

Blessing to all, have a wonderful day!

Welcome February

Zach.........
My hubby and I met 18 years ago this month....in some ways seems like forever, and in other ways....just yesterday. We were like the Brady Bunch, His.....Mine.....and Ours..... and five grandchildren later......
As I look back on the years, where has the time gone? I'm wondering what holds for the next 18 years, and I know God has been good, faithful, and exciting. Have a great day.
