OUCH---what crafters won't do........

Crafters will do most anything to get the job done...right? Well stupid me tring to work too fast ramed a crochet hook thru the palm of my hand to the top.....ouch is not a strong enough word let me tell you. I'm going to spare you of the gory details, but God is so good! No permanent damage was done, just slowed me down a bit. I am so Thankful for a fast recovery, as well as for the Lord, my family, my job, friends, and my love for creating.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving....

With Love,

Had a wonderful weekend.....

I had my church ladies out for some food and fellowship on Saturday. It is always so nice to spend time with Godly ladies! We ate some really good food, and then had a handout/lesson on "Stress at the Holidays", getting everything done like all of us superladies do, having fun and keeping "Jesus" in the center of it all. Of course, we can't do any of it without the Lord!

Priority your next 5 weeks. Write it down, and remember there is only 24 hours in a day, and you must plan on resting at least 6-8 hours. Keep your prayers and devotions up, the Lord will give us strength to do what we must, and the rest will really just be inimportant.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving because we all have so much to be Thankful for.

Getting Close, the Countdown

Where has this fall gone? I wish someone would tell me. I just got back from my good friend Cathy @ Cobblestone Farms, and she is having her "Christmas in the Country" open house on Sat. November 14, 9-4 C.S.T. Anyone that can get there really needs to. She is one of the most talented people I know. Not only that, such a sweetie. She is one of my "Travelin' Chick" Sisters. She has so many one of a kind creations that she custom makes with great love and care.

Friends, also look for the Travelin Chicks to come to Glasgow, Kentucky, Sat., November 28, 10-2 C.S.T. We will be at the home of Lee Alcott, in Hidden Forest Estates. The Travelin' Chicks are a group of business women traveling together to sell their wares. We have Kindlelight Blessings candles, Lil' Booger Bows, Cobblestone Farms handpainted ornaments, vintage braclets, awesome handpainted metal plates, Cassey's handcrafted unique jewelery, and Angelina's delicious truffles, and gourmet desserts, displayed and made with Pampered Chef wares. I promise, you won't be disappointed!
